Neurodivergent Life Coaching

  • Our Neurodivergent Life Coach has over 10 years experience helping people with learning or neurodevelopmental disability or mental health conditions conceive and attain meaningful outcomes. Over the course of 12 - 24 sessions our life coach will work closely with the individual and if necessary their family, friends and professional network. To co-produce a lifestyle which is a true reflection of how the person wishes to live and be supported in order to thrive.

Outcomes from coaching sessions directly inform support delivered by Bridge Support Workers. Creating a holistic circle of support around the person, their loved ones and their community health and social care team. Through 1:1 sessions our coach will guide reflective conversation to identify and work through barriers anchored to circumstantial stress or rooted in past trauma. Using a combination of creative therapies, adaptive approaches and targeted support to build on strengths that can be developed and begin the journey towards meaningful change.

  • Understanding who we are and what what we need to support each other to achieve our goals.

We are committed to raising awareness and understanding of the strengths and needs of the people we support within their circle of support and their community.

  • Caring is at the heart of what we do. We know living with a neurodevelopmental disability, a learning disability or mental health condition means that some days can be harder than others. That is why we always celebrate when we reach our goals and why we make time to rest and be kind to each other if things don’t go according to plan.

  • People should be in control of the care and support they receive. We educate people to become active members of their circle of support. Neurodivergent coaching helps people develop the skills and confidence to have agency over their care and treatment.

  • Life can be unpredictable, things don’t always go according to plan. We won’t panic, we will be determined to find the solution. We know anything can be achieved with the right amount of planning and support.

  • We value the importance of providing a service that can adapt to meet the needs of the people we support and our community.
